The background story of how we got here today...

 Trevor Bennett, our founder, trained as a welder in his younger days before moving into retail selling welding equipment and machinery for a company he worked for. Taking all the experience he gained, he eventually starting on his own business in 1981, and MELLIS WELDING SUPPLIES LTD was born.

Where we are today...

Trevor has now reached retirement age and, after years of training and learning the trade, has passed MWS down to Matt, his son. Chantelle, Matt's wife, came into the business in 2021, taking over from the previous admin/accounts manager.

 

Matt and Chantelle have spent the last few years learning from Trevor now he is enjoying his retirement knowing the business is in good hands.

 

Matt is the face and frontman of the business now, Trevor remains here for support and Chantelle works behind the scenes to ensure everything is kept up-to-date. We are extremely proud of this family-run business, established over 40 years ago.
