3. Free UK Mainland Delivery
We offer free carriage to UK mainland addresses (excluding the Scottish Highlands and other remote areas) on qualifying orders.

10. SGS Welding Gas Cylinders and Exchanges
Mellis Welding Supplies Ltd supplies SGS welding gases and operates a cylinder exchange service where applicable.
Cylinder Deposits
Where a gas cylinder deposit is required, the deposit is paid to secure the cylinder and does not represent ownership of the cylinder.
Gas cylinders remain subject to the ownership terms of the relevant cylinder supplier scheme.
Customers must:

Keep cylinders safe and secure while in their possession.

Use cylinders only for their intended purpose.

Follow all manufacturer and supplier safety instructions.

Return cylinders when they are no longer required.
Cylinder Exchanges
Customers may exchange empty cylinders for full replacement cylinders, subject to availability and the requirements of the supplier scheme.
For an exchange:

The returned cylinder must be suitable for exchange.

Cylinders must not be damaged, modified or unsafe.

The correct cylinder type and gas specification must be returned.

Exchange availability may depend on current stock levels.
We reserve the right to refuse an exchange where a cylinder cannot safely or legally be accepted.
Returning Cylinders
Customers wishing to return cylinders should contact us to arrange the appropriate return process.
Cylinders must not be:

Disposed of.

Damaged.

Modified.

Transferred to another person without approval.
Failure to return cylinders may result in the loss of any applicable deposit and may result in additional charges where permitted.
Delivery Restrictions
Due to the nature of compressed gases, delivery and collection arrangements may differ from standard products.
